Blog Introduction

I don’t think of myself as much of a writer, and I’m not much for reading words about photography either, so don’t expect too much photo talk here! But I am a person making things and these days I feel like social media isn’t the right avenue for me to share what I am making. Maybe I’d just like to see these images live somewhere on my terms, maybe I’m bored with algorithms, or maybe I’m just tired? I bet it’s a combination of all three.

This summer I’ve been hiking Runyon most mornings and carrying a little Fuji point and shoot camera, walking and shooting while half asleep. I’m always surprised at how each morning I could take the same tired path and still have new things to look at. I’ve posted a few images from those mornings here, mostly to remind myself, and hopefully to set the tone for this space.
